When I still lived in Istanbul, at least half of my family’s photoshoots took place at the beach. In the Netherlands, it’s a bit less common, but occasionally I have the opportunity to go to the coast. This photoshoot was taken in Bergen aan Zee. The beach is always spacious, full of light, and the colors are beautiful. Most people feel happy & free at the beach and the photographs usually reflect this. On this beautiful day in April the sun was shining, but that is not a necessity for beautiful photo’s. If the weather is overcast, you can still take beautiful photos in many shades of gray and blue.
